On the confluence of three states – Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh – Shri Havagiswami College, Udgir is located in Latur District of Maharashtra. Udgir is famous for its historically significant fort and blessed with the presence of a great Hindu Sage, Shri Havagiswami. The philanthropist members of Bharat Liberal Education Society, Udgir established Shri Havagiswami College with a vision to provide affordable quality education to the rural learners in June 1972. Since inception, the institution continues to progress in various arenas of academics with leaps and bounds under able administration of visionaries. The college marked its presence in a short period of time and created its own space in the field of academics, sports, and other activities.

The college offers under graduate, post graduate and research courses in the disciplines of Arts, Commerce and Science. It also offers educational facility for intermediate schooling in Arts, Commerce, Science and HSVC (MCVC). Presently the college has more than 2500 students taking the advantage of state-of-the-art facilities in the sprawling SHS College campus.
