A senior scholar in English Studies with over twenty-five years of academic experience in teaching, research, and knowledge dissemination. He holds M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in English from reputed universities, along with international certifications from ETS (USA) and University of Cambridge (UK). A recognized postgraduate teacher and research supervisor actively engaged in mentoring research scholars and advancing research culture in higher education.
He served as Research Associate at the UGC–Inter-University Centre, Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, contributing to interdisciplinary and advanced literary research. A prolific researcher and author with six books published by national and international publishers and over forty research publications in UGC CARE-listed journals, refereed journals, and conference proceedings. He has contributed chapters to university prescribed textbooks of SRTM University, Nanded, and Osmania University, Hyderabad.
He has made a significant contribution to digital education, faculty development, and academic outreach through the development of 180 E-Content modules aligned with the SRTM University syllabi for Compulsory and Optional English, and 23 nationally disseminated E-Content Modules created as a Subject Expert under the MHRD-sponsored UGC E-Content Development Programme.
He is actively engaged in capacity building in higher education, has served as a Resource Person for numerous sessions for UGC HRDCs/MMTTCs organized Orientation, Refresher, and Short-Term Courses, and delivered 37 expert presentations at national and international conferences, seminars, and academic forums. In addition, he has delivered a number of invited lectures across various colleges and universities, contributing to the dissemination of best practices in English studies, pedagogy, research methodology, and technology-enabled learning.
He served in key administrative capacities including NAAC and IQAC Coordinator for Cycle II and Cycle III accreditation processes, contributing significantly to institutional quality enhancement and compliance. He also functioned as Assistant Chief Superintendent for University Examinations and currently coordinates University-level Online Evaluation and E-Governance Initiatives.
He has actively involved in curriculum development as a Member of the Board of Studies and University Syllabus Committee in English.
He has organized numerous state, national, and international academic events, faculty development programmes, and extension activities. He also served as NSS Programme Officer, fostering community engagement, leadership, and social responsibility among students; also functions as Taluka-Level Coordinator for Maharashtra State Information Technology Support Centre (Career Katta), strengthening employability and digital awareness initiatives. He demonstrates strong administrative acumen, leadership, and commitment to institutional development and academic excellence.
