Admission Process

Students those who pass Secondary School Certificate examination are admitted to Junior College (10+2 Pattern) in Arts, Commerce, Science and H.S.V.C. (MCVC) courses.

Intake:

The college runs different courses in the faculty of Arts, Commerce and Science and offers 10+2 Courses along with many combinations and optional subjects:

HSC - Arts 120
HSC - Commerce 120
HSC - Science 240
HSVC (MCVC) 100

Students those who qualify 10+2 examination i.e. Higher Secondary Board Exanimation in Arts, Commerce, Science, HSVC (MCVC) or equivalent are eligible to secure admission into a three year degree course - B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc. depending on the 10+2 branch of study.

Intake:

The college runs different courses in the faculty of Arts, Commerce and Science and offers three Bachelor Courses along with many combinations and optional subjects:

B.A. 240
B.Com 120
B.Sc 120

Students those who qualify 10+2+3 examination or posses any degree in Arts, Commerce and Science from a recognized university in India or abroad can secure admission into a two year post graduate degree course - M. A. and M.Com. depending on the 10+2+3 branch of study.
For M. Phil. in Geography, the students who have earned a Post Graduate degree in Geography are eligible for admission.

Intake:

The college also offers Masters and M. Phil. Courses in different faculties:

M.A. in Marathi 60
M.A. in Hindi 60
M.A. in Geography 60
M.Com 80
M.Phil in Geography 20

Shri Havagiswami College has established well equipped Research Centre for three subjects: Marathi, Geography and Commerce. The centre provides state-of-the-art research facility for Ph.D. students in their respective subjects. Any researcher or superior can avail the facility by fulfilling certain conditions:

  • 1. The centre has a separate reading room for research scholars, superiors and teachers.
  • 2. Reference Books available in the centre can be used by refundable depositing Rs. 500/-. The centre also charges Rs. 100/- as Admission Fees and Rs. 25/- per month as library fees.
  • 3. The scholars are allowed to borrow maximum two books at a time.
  • 4. Approved Research Scholars have to submit their M.A./M.Com Certificate, Migration Certificate and if employed, a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer.

The fee structure is strictly adopted as fixed by the affiliated university and the Government of Maharashtra from time to time. The details are provided in the College Brochure at the time of admission.

Shri Havagiswami College is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathawada University, Nanded and follows the syllabus as designed by the various Boards of Study of the university for different subjects. The details are provided on the official website of the university:
